Funeral services for Garrett Edwin Wounded Head, age 60, will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at St. Henry’s Catholic Church Hall in Potato Creek, SD with Reverend Emerson Spider Jr. officiating.
Burial will be at the Native American Church Cemetery in Potato Creek, SD.
A two-night wake service will start at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at St. Henry’s Catholic Church Hall in Potato Creek.
Garrett passed away on August 3, 2015 in Tulsa, OK.
Survivors include:
Daughters Amaris Thunder Hawk of Denver, CO and April Thunder Hawk of Alaska
Brother Paul Wounded Head of Rapid City, SD
Sisters Brenda Bullman of Salt Lake City, UT and Donna Long Soldier of Rapid City, SD
Numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren
Garrett was preceded in death by parents Felix and Vivian (Amiotte) Wounded Head; brothers Alan Wounded Head, Daryl Wounded Head, and Leslie Wounded Head; and sister Cheyril Wounded Head.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Garrett Edwin Wounded Head.
