Funeral services for Vernilla Aldine Siers-Bruning, age 82, will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at the Mother Butler Center in Rapid City, SD with Pastor Elton Yellow Boy officiating.
Burial will be at Mt. View Cemetery in Rapid City, SD.
A one-night wake service will start at 3:30 PM on Monday, September 7, 2015 at the Mother Butler Center in Rapid City.
Vernilla passed away on August 30, 2015 in Sioux Falls, SD.
Survivors include:
Daughters Theresa Bury of Rapid City, SD, Lynn Mousseaux of Pine Ridge, SD, and Nivea Makoni of Taylorsville, UT
Sisters Verna Hultgren, Rose Marie “Penny” Kentz, and Mary Helen Siers of Rapid City, SD
Numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren
Vernilla was preceded in death by parents Thomas Bruguier and Victoria Siers- Jumping Eagle; children Ray, Dale, David, Donald, and Donna Bruning; siblings Delmas Jr., Tommy, twin infants, and Billy Jumping Eagle.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Vernilla Aldine Siers-Bruning.
