There are no services planned for Thurza Hamilton, age 83, of Chadron, NE. Instead of a memorial service, Thurza only asked that a candle be lit in her honor. She passed away on September 2, 2015.
No memorial is being established. The family asks only that you look at your loved ones and see that time on earth is short and life should not be squandered on negative thoughts.

Thurza was born January 28, 1932 to Edward and Lillian Sadler in Dulwich, England. She lived in many locations during her life, including England, New York, California, South Dakota, Texas, and finally Chadron, raising her family and giving selflessly throughout the years. Her grandchildren brought joy and purpose to her life. She was forever willing to let go of her own dreams in order to encourage others in the pursuit of theirs. She is survived by sons Alan of Lincoln, NE, and Edward (Teddy) and Leonard of Chadron, NE; daughter Debbie of Lincoln, NE; grandchildren Adam of Laramie, WY, Nikki and Falcon of Chadron, NE, Caine Van de Water of Spokane Valley, WA, Jason Mckean of Florida, Jared Mckean of Gilbert, AZ, and Skyla Klug of Lincoln, NE; and sister Joyce of New York.
Preceding Thurza in death were her parents; son Mark Joseph; brothers Leonard Sadler of England, Brian Sadler of England, and Edward (Ted) Sadler of England; and sister Joan Knight of England.
Chamberlain Chapel of Chadron is in charge of arrangements for Thurza Hamilton.
