Funeral services for Earl H. Geu, age 91, of Sidney, NE, will be at 10:30 AM on Friday, September 18, 2015 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church (1425 Maple St.) in Sidney with Pastor Bradley Heinecke officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery (530 Greenwood Road) in Sidney.
Visitation will be from 1:00-7:00 PM on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at the Gehrig-Stitt Chapel. The family will be present from 5:00-7:00 PM.
A memorial has been established. Donations may be made in Earl’s name to the Lutheran Hour or the Nebraska Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture.

Earl passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Sidney Regional Medical Center in Sidney, NE.
Survivors include wife Evelyn of Sidney, NE; children Pamela Lay of Hastings, NE, Jan Thelen and husband Steve of Lincoln, NE, and Thomas Geu and wife Carol of Vermillion, SD; grandchildren Cody Lay and wife Elizabeth of Columbus, NE, Rikki Lay of Lincoln, NE, Andrew Thelen of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, Joanie Thelen and fiancé Jack Huebner of Kansas City, MO and Taylor Geu of Gambier, OH; great-grandson Gavin Lay of Columbus, NE; sister Arlene Mathewson and husband Rodney of Sidney, NE; sisters-in-law Amy Ann Geu of Sidney, NE and Rosemarie Geu of Ft. Collins, CO; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.
Gehrig-Stitt Chapel & Cremation Service of Sidney is in charge of arrangements for Earl H. Geu.
