A celebration of life service for Janet L. Blakesley, age 70, will be from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at the VFW Hall in Thermopolis, WY.
A memorial has been established. Donations may be sent in care of Chamberlain Chapel, PO Box 970, Chadron, NE 69337.

Janet passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at Hospice House in Rapid City, SD. She was born December 13, 1944 in Worland, WY to William and Vivian
(Duncan) Brooks. Her sister Joyce joined the family a few years later. Janet married Danny Rush in April 1965 in Thermopolis, WY, and they had two children. In May of 1995, she married Richard Blakesley. Janet worked at the Wyoming Pioneer Home for over 20 years.
Survivors include son Curtis Rush of Thermopolis, WY; daughter Bobbi (Sam) Wellnitz of Chadron, NE; granddaughter Fawn Rush; grandson Daniel Wellnitz; and special friends Shirley Towers, Nina Carroll, Sandy Kimmel and Mary Nation.
Janet was preceded in death by husband Richard, her parents, and her sister.
