A Mass of Christian Burial for Clarence Paul Pourier, age 86, will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, October 2, 2015 at the Porcupine School Gym in Porcupine, SD with Father Rick Abert S.J. officiating. Traditional Lakota services will be provided by Mike Carlow.
Burial will be at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Cemetery in Porcupine, SD.
A one-night wake service will start at 1:00 PM on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at the Porcupine School Gym in Porcupine.
Clarence passed away on September 28, 2015 in Pine Ridge, SD. He was a veteran in the U.S. Army.

Sons Pierre Pourier, Hobart Charles Pourier, Stephen (Lynn) Pourier, Sean Pourier, and Gary Pourier of Thunder Valley, SD, and Michael Pourier of Rapid City, SD
Daughters Candace Pourier of Rapid City, SD, Mary (Richard) Kamerzell of Thunder Valley, SD, and Destiny Comes of Oglala, SD
Brothers Lester Pourier of Rapid City, SD, Duane Pourier, Delbert Pourier, and Curtis Pourier of Thunder Valley, SD
Sisters Edna Pilcher of Thunder Valley, SD, Lavonne Richards of Hermiston, OR, Deanna Pourier of Thunder Valley, SD, and Phyllis Pourier of Rockyford, SD
Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren
Clarence was preceded in death by parents Hobart Joseph Pourier and Isabel Marie O’Rourke; spouse Opal Hattie Blue Horse-Pourier; daughters Patty Pourier, Theresa Pourier-LeBeau, and Glory Pourier-Cournoyer; brothers Cecil Pourier and Dennis Pourier; and sister Carol Jacobs.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Clarence Paul Pourier.
