A Mass of Christian Burial services for Merle Gene Palmier, age 54, will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Hall in Kyle, SD with Father Rick Abert S.J. and Deacon Greg Reynolds officiating.
Burial will be at 11:30 AM on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at the Lakota Freedom Veterans Cemetery in Kyle, SD.
A one-night wake service will begin at 4:00 PM on Friday, October 9, 2015 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Hall in Kyle, SD.
Merle passed away on October 6, 2015 in Kyle, SD. He was a member of the U.S. Army National Guard.

Mother Dolores Palmier of Martin, SD
Sons William Palmier, Richard Palmier, Stephen Palmier, Geoffrey Palmier, and Anthony Palmier, all of Fort Collins, CO
Daughters Brittany Palmier, Melissa Palmier, and Lexie Trujillo, all of Fort Collins, CO
Brothers Greg Palmier of Washington, Maurice Palmier and Mike Palmier of Rapid City, SD, and Ben Palmier of Kyle, SD
Sisters Connie Lemos of Fort Collins, CO, Michelle Palmier of Kyle, SD, and Leatrice “Peaches” Wilson of Rapid City, SD
Granddaughter Mila Seawalt of Fort Collins, CO
Merle was preceded in death by father Theodore William Palmier and brothers Ted, Andre, and Nick Palmier.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Merle Gene Palmier.
