Memorial services for Violet Marie Brueckner of Chadron, NE will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, October 16, 2015 at Greenwood Cemetery in Chadron with Pastor Steve Retzlaff officiating.
A memorial has been established. Donations may be sent to Chamberlain Chapel, PO Box 970, Chadron, NE 69337.

Violet went home to be with the Lord on October 13, 2015. She was born in Hay Springs, NE to Herbert and Mabel Petersen. She was the fourth of nine children. Violet was married to Edward Allen Brueckner, and they had four children together, Greg, Kathy, Debra, and Doug.
Violet’s passions were cooking, gardening, doll restoration, sewing, jewelry making, and all kinds of crafts. She was very creative.
Violet is survived by children Kathy (Kirk) Nydahl, Debra (Rick) Lien, and Doug (Colette); sisters Judy Schenck and Pattie (Jerry) Raymer; brother Ed (Rosemary) Petersen; grandchildren Melissa Madsen, Tracy Madsen, Jeff (Kayla) Lien, Michael (Jessica) Brueckner, Jena (Miles) Garwood, and Sarah (Jereme) Patterson; and six great-grandchildren.
Chamberlain Chapel of Chadron is in charge of arrangements for Violet Brueckner.
