10/17/2015 - Mabel Walks Underground Rosales
Funeral services for Mabel Rita (Walks Underground) Rosales, age 82, will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church Hall in Kyle, SD with Pastor Charles and Kim Montileaux officiating. Traditional Lakota services will be provided by Dave Swallow.
Burial will be at the Rosales Family Cemetery in Kyle, SD.
A one-night wake service will begin at 1:00 PM on Friday, October 16, 2015 at the St. Barnabas Episcopal Church Hall in Kyle, SD.
Mabel passed away on October 12, 2015 in Rapid City, SD.
Survivors include:
Sons Gary Lee Christensen and Joseph Walks Underground of Kyle, SD
Daughters Ruby Kay Francis of Olympia, WA and Jolene Christensen of Rochester, WA
Brothers Francis Montileaux Sr., Lawrence Montileaux, and Moses Montileaux of Kyle, SD
Sisters Theresa Montileaux and Sheralda Montileaux of Kyle, SD
29 grandchildren
Numerous great-grandchildren
Mabel was preceded in death by parents Philip Walks Underground and Helen Lena Bull Bear; spouse Joseph Adolph Rosales; sons Richard Weston Jr., Benny Lee Rosales, and Robert Joe Rosales; one stillborn infant daughter; brothers Joseph Montileaux and Martin Montileaux; and sister Pauline Montileaux.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is charge of arrangements for Mabel Rita (Walks Underground) Rosales.
