10/24/2015 - Cable K. Eide
Funeral services for Cable K. Eide (I-Dee), age 39, of Chadron, NE will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Custer, SD with Father Kerry Prendiville officiating.
Burial will be in Custer, SD.
The family plans to continue with Cable’s father’s wishes for all memorials to go to the Alano Club in Custer.

Cable was born on July 7, 1976 in Custer, SD. Although battling diseases throughout his lifetime, he maintained an appreciation for the simplest things in life. He was resourceful and could use electrical tape to fix most anything. His passions, both for and against, were impenetrable. Included in those that he enjoyed were cooking, creating artwork, photography, reading, agate hunting and spending time in the forest.
He delighted in both reading and watching the Star Wars and Lord of the Rings series, at times referring to his journey to be a “Jedi.” Friends and family had to be on guard for Cable’s unique sense of humor as it would usually involve interaction or was a result of how something said could be misconstrued. One of his favorites was asking you to look for something underneath an item – just to hear you question under where (underwear). Cable enjoyed living in Chadron, NE, the place he called home when he passed away.
Cable was preceded in death by father Ray Eide; his grandparents; Uncles Paul, James, and Jerry Muehl; and aunts Arlette and Loretta Muehl.
He will be missed by mother Mary Eide; sister LeAnne (Scott) Schramm; nephews Sawyer and Brantley Schramm; niece Taylee Schramm; and many family members and friends.
