Funeral services for Victor Gay, age 61, will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Hall in Kyle, SD with Reverend Harold Eagle Bull officiating. Traditional Lakota services will be provided by Francis “Chubbs” Thunder Hawk.
Burial will be at the Mediator Episcopal Church Cemetery in Kyle, SD.
A two-night wake service will begin at 2:00 PM on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at the Billy Mills Hall in Pine Ridge, SD. The second night will begin at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 13, 2015 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Hall in Kyle, SD.
Victor passed away on October 30, 2015 in Rochester, MN.
Survivors include:
Brothers Collins Gay of Pine Ridge, SD, Francis “Chubbs” Thunder Hawk of Porcupine, SD, and John Yellow Hawk of Kyle, SD
Sisters Nancy Bush and Arlene Thunder Bull of Rapid City, SD and Myrna Garfield of Porcupine, SD
Victor was preceded in death by parents Joshua Gay and Fannie Lillian Thunder Hawk and four brothers.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Victor Gay.
