Funeral services for Lyle Dixon Bull Bear, age 55, will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Hall in Kyle, SD with Pastor Jojo Brown Thunder and Father Rick Abert, S.J. officiating. Traditional Lakota services will be provided by Roger Byrd.
Burial will be at St. Stephen’s CatholicCemetery in Kyle, SD.
A two-night wake service will begin at 1:00 PM on Sunday, November 15, 2015 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Hall in Kyle, SD.
Lyle passed away on November 10, 2015 in Rapid City, SD.

Sisters Lucille Bull Bear of Rapid City, SD; Bernice Bull Bear of Aurora, CO; Sandra Old Horse and Carmel Old Horse, both of Kyle, SD; Theresa Ortiz of Phoenix, AZ; and Faron Old Horse of Kyle, SD
Common law wife Pearl Monroe of Kyle, SD
Hunka brother Didier Dupont of Kyle, SD
Uncle Verdell Long Soldier of Crawford, SD
Nieces and nephews Alvina No Horse, Devin Brown, Donnie Featherman, Duane Hollingsowrth, Jacob Featherman, Simone Bohannon, Donnie Featherman Jr., Nikata Featherman, Craig Bohannon, Stephen Stevenson, Tashina Bull Bear, Jame Bull Bear, Felicia Bull Bear, Dustin Bull Bear, Palani Bull Bear, and Ketrin Monroe.
Lyle was preceded in death by parents Amos and Alvina (Fool Head) Bull Bear and brother Charles Bull Bear.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Lyle Dixon Bull Bear.
