Funeral services for Gilbert Clarence Bad Wound “Tatanka Ple Sun,” age 41, will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at the Billy Mills Hall in Pine Ridge, SD with Brother Sylvester Knows His Gun officiating.
Burial will be at the Body of Christ Cemetery in Wolf Creek, SD.
A two-night wake service will begin at 2:00 PM on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at the Billy Mills Hall in Pine Ridge, SD.
Gilbert passed away at 12:05 AM on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at the Rapid City Regional Hospital in Rapid City, SD. He was born on April 11, 1974 in Gordon, NE to the late Alfonso Bad Wound and Irma Jean Black Feather-Bad Wound. Gilbert’s paternal grandparents were the late Gilbert Bad Wound and Naomi Twiss.
Gilbert enjoyed cooking, spending time with his friends, going to church, and outdoor actives. Gilbert was a member of the Body of Christ Church. He was grateful to all those who knew him. He was an awesome brother, uncle, grandpa, and brother-in-law.
