Memorial services for Edna M. Bruns, age 75, of Sidney, NE will be at 10:30 AM on Friday, December 4, 2015 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church with Father Jim Heithoff officiating.
A private family inurnment will take place at a later date.
Cremation has been held. Friends may stop by the Gehrig-Stitt Chapel on Thursday, December 3, 2015 to sign Edna’s register book and leave condolences for the family.
A memorial has been established. Contributions may be made in Edna’s name to the Elks Crippled Children’s Fund, the Shriners Crippled Children’s Fund or Donor’s Choice.

Edna passed away at her home on Tuesday, November 24, 2015.
Survivors include husband Jack of Sidney; sons Jeff Adels of Sidney and Jason (Lisa) Bruns of Rapid City, SD; daughter Robin (Chuck) Haupt of Sterling, CO; sister Linda (Jim) Sewald of North Platte, NE; brother-in-law Jim (Carol) Bruns of Hemingford, NE; grandchildren Charlie (Aisha) Haupt of Mesquite, TX, Derek (America) Haupt of Albuquerque, NM, Joey Smith, Richard (Natasha) Haupt, Morgan Haupt and Shane Carey of Sidney, Alena Carey and Justin Bruns of Rapid City, SD, and Joe Roll, Hillary Ramkor and Danielle Shane of Osage, IA; 8 great-granddaughters and 1 great-grandson; numerous nieces and nephews; and many wonderful friends.
Gehrig-Stitt Chapel & Cremation Service is in charge of arrangements for Edna M. Bruns.
