Funeral services for Lila Mae Herr-Young, age 88, of Chadron, NE will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, December 4, 2015 at Chamberlain Chapel with Dr. Russ Seger officiating.
Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Chadron.
A memorial has been established for Crestview Care Center. Donations may be sent to Chamberlain Chapel, PO Box 970, Chadron, NE 69337.

Lila passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2015 at Crestview Care Center in Chadron. She was born on September 22, 1927 in Chadron, NE to Clara (Lecher) and Kenneth Kindred. She married Charles Herr, and they had four children, Tom, Charles, Ken and Nancy. Following the death of Charles in 1992, Lila married Charles (Bud) Young in 2000. Bud passed away in 2012. Lila enjoyed her friends, flowers, playing cards, and dancing.
She is survived by sons Charles (Tina) of California and Ken of Chadron; daughter Nancy Rasmussen of Texas; daughter-in-law Barb Herr of Illinois; six grandchildren; great-grandchildren; sisters Betty (Don) Conyac, Kay (Bill deceased) Tyree; sister-in-law Wilma DeBoer; numerous nieces and nephews; and extended family Rodger, Kenneth (Candace), and Robert (Kate) Young and families.
Lila was preceded in death by husbands Charles Herr and Charles (Bud) Young, brother Kenneth (Bud) Kindred, and son Tom.
Chamberlain Chapel of Chadron is in charge of arrangements for Lila Mae Herr-Young.
