Funeral services for Colleen Vivian Hunter-Zephier, age 93, will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, December 11, 2015 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Hall in Kyle, SD with Father Rick Abert officiating.
Burial will be Friday, December 11, 2015 at the Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis, SD.
A one-night wake service will begin at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Hall in Kyle, SD.
Colleen passed away on December 4, 2015 in Martin, SD. She was a veteran in the U.S.Navy.
Colleen is survived by son Perry Zephier of Kyle, SD; daughters Pamela Standing Soldier, Sherrill Thunder Hawk, Jeaneane Zephier and Corrine Zephier, all of Kyle, SD; brother John Hunter Jr. of Los Angeles, CA; sister Patricia Jackson of Rapid City, SD; 17 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
Colleen is preceded in death by parents Stephen Hunter and Maggie Gibbons; husband Harvey A. Zephier; grandson Percy Zephier; five brothers and two sisters.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Colleen Vivian Hunter-Zephier.
