Funeral services for George Edmund Janis, age 47, will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at the Mother Butler Center in Rapid City, SD with Wendell Ghost Bear, Marletta Pacheco, Elton Yellow Boy, and Abraham Tobacco officiating.
Burial will be at Pine Lawn Memorial Park in Rapid City, SD.
A one-night wake service will begin at 10:00 AM on Monday, December 14, 2015 at the Mother Butler Center in Rapid City, SD.
George passed away on December 7, 2015 in Rapid City, SD.
Survivors include:

Daughters Shavonne Bad Wound of Rapid City, SD, Miranda Cloud of Rapid City, SD and Juney Prince Eagleman of Pierre, SD
Son Johnny Cloud of Rapid City, SD
Brother John C. Janis of Rapid City, SD
Sister Charlene Janis of Rapid City, SD
Six grandchildren
Numerous nieces and nephews
George was preceded in death by parents Willard V. Janis and Vera May Many Deeds and sister Rochelle Janis.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for George Edmund Janis.
