12/14/2015 - Marie White Thunder-Pecoraro
Funeral services for Marie A. White Thunder-Pecoraro, age 67, will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, December 14, 2015 at the Sharp’s Corner Baptist Mission Church in Sharp’s Corner, SD with Senior Catechist Ben Conquering Bear officiating. Traditional Lakota services will be provided by Carol Herrera.
Burial will be at St. Luke’s Episcopal Cemetery in Sharp’s Corner, SD.
A one-night wake service will begin at 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at the Sharp’s Corner Baptist Mission Church at Sharp’s Corner.
Marie passed away on December 7, 2015 in Minneapolis, MN. She is survived by siblings Robert Red Nest Rattling Chase, Linda Red Nest Rivera, Deloris Red Nest, and Connie Red Nest of Rapid City, SD and Edison Red Nest Jr. of New Mexico; children Alton John Black Feather, Norman Bear Nose, and Jerrolyn Bear Nose of Minneapolis, MN and Daniel Pecoraro Jr. of Omaha, NE; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and special daughter-in-law Monica Bordeaux of Pine Ridge, SD.
Marie was preceded in death by mother Dorothy White Thunder; siblings Amy Red Nest and Toni White Thunder; and children Ronald Vincent Black Feather and Lisa Marie Pecoraro.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Marie A. White Thunder-Pecoraro.
