Private family funeral services for Douglas W. Zilinski, age 67, of Crawford, NE were held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 29, 2015 at Chamberlain Chapel in Chadron, NE.
Burial was in the Crawford Cemetery.
A memorial has been established for the American Heart and Cancer Foundation or the Crawford Fire & Rescue Unit.

Doug passed away on September 24, 2015 at his home in Crawford, NE. He was born September 10, 1948 in Salem, NJ to Walter and Doris Zilinski. He served in the U. S. Army as a military policeman from 1971-1973. He attended college for one year. He married Cynthia J. Ovens. He worked for DuPont Chemical Corporation as an Instrumental Technician.
Doug was a great father and grandfather. He was also one of the best husbands in the world. He worked hard and loved the outdoors.
He is survived by daughters Lisa Ann Zilinski and Cynthia L. Zilinski; father Walter Zilinski; mother Doris Wilson; brothers Walt S. Zilinski and Ronald Zilinski; uncles Sam Pedrick and Otis Pedrick; grandson Dustin Zilinski-Rath and Jason Zilinski; granddaughter Millisa Zilinski; three nephews; and two nieces.
Chamberlain Chapel of Chadron is in charge of arrangements for Douglas W. Zilinski.
