01/16/2016 - Ardyth Iron Cloud
Funeral services for Ardyth Lillian Iron Cloud, age 60, will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at the Porcupine Day School Gym in Porcupine, SD. Traditional Lakota services will be provided by Richard Iron Cloud.
Burial will be held at a later date.
A one-night wake service will begin at 3:00 PM on Friday, January 15, 2016 at the Porcupine Day School Gym in Porcupine, SD.
A memorial has been established. Donations can be made to the book program at the Little Wound School in memory of Ardyth.
Ardyth was born on April 9, 1955 in Pine Ridge, SD to Edward Iron Cloud Jr. and Mary Locke. She passed away on January 11, 2016 at the PineRidgeI.H.S.Hospital in Pine Ridge, SD.
Ardyth is survived by spouse Theodore Hamilton of Porcupine, SD; sons Phil Baird of Bismarck, ND, Dustin Baird of Denver, CO (Raider Nation), Santee Baird of Porcupine, SD, Brian Baird of Rapid City, SD, Grey Hamilton of Norfolk, VA, Elliot Hamilton of Rapid City, SD, Wanbli Gleska Hamilton of Rapid City, SD and Jacob Wolf of Sisseton, SD; daughters Mary Baird of Pine Ridge, SD, Sonja Baird of Brookefield, IL, and Hail Baird of Rapid City, SD; brothers Gerald Iron Cloud of Eagle Butte, SD, Jeffrey Iron Cloud of Rapid City, SD, Edward Iron Cloud III of Porcupine, SD, and Orlin Iron Cloud of Eagle Butte, SD; sisters Emily Koenen, Eileen Iron Cloud, Alberta Miller, and Ethleen Two Dogs of Porcupine, SD; and 12 grandchildren.
Ardyth was preceded in death by parents Edward Iron Cloud Jr. and Mary Locke; nephew Peter Miles Iron Cloud; and cousins Manuel, Patty and David Iron Cloud, and Everett, Bill, Hank and Harold Tuttle.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Ardyth Lillian Iron Cloud.
