Funeral services for Karen Andrews-Dean, age 61, of Fort Worth, TX, will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at the Makasan Presbyterian Church Hall in Oglala, SD.

Burial will be at the Makasan Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Oglala.

A one-night wake service will begin at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at the Makasan Presbyterian Church Hall.

Karen was born on May 11, 1955 in Kansas to Alfred and Effie (Garnier) Andrews. She passed away on January 12, 2016 at the Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth, TX.

Survivors include son Michael Dean and daughter Heather Dean, both of Fort Worth, TX, and daughter Vanessa Ford of China Spring, TX; sister Marilyn Andrews of Kansas; and 6 grandchildren.

Karen was preceded in death by parents Alfred and Effie Andrews; spouse Michael Olson Dean; and siblings Gloria Andrews, David Andrews, Delbert Andrews, and Tammy Andrews.
