Funeral services for Sheryl Marchant, age 68, of Chadron, NE will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Chadron, NE with Father Tim Stoner officiating.
Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Chadron.
A Rosary will be at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.
A memorial has been established. Donations may be sent to Chamberlain Chapel, PO Box 970, Chadron, NE 69337.

Sheryl was born on July 24, 1947 to Bill and Colleen Snyder in Chadron, NE. She passed away on January 22, 2016 at Rapid City Regional Hospital.
Sheryl attended Chadron Prep School and the Assumption Academy. She went to college for six years and had attained a Master’s degree in Sociology and Psychology. She enjoyed being a volunteer at Crestview Care Center and the Senior Center. She spent a lot of time working for the Handicapped Reach Out and also volunteered at the Dawes County Historical Society.
She married John Marchant on July 6, 1968. To this union were born two daughters, Lori on November 17, 1971 and Lisa on August 21, 1974.
Sheryl is survived by daughters Lori Marchant and Lisa Downard; grandson Chase Downard; sister Ginger (Don) Fager; niece Krista (Jason) Patefield; and special friend Ellsworth Shaffer.
Chamberlain Chapel of Chadron is in charge of arrangements for Sheryl Marchant.
