02/01/2016 - Annabelle (Red Feather) Picket Pin
Funeral services for Annabelle Rose (Red Feather) Picket Pin, age 59, will be at 3:00 PM on Monday, February 1, 2016 at the Billy Mills Hall in Pine Ridge, SD with Brother Don Mink, Reverend William Graham, Father Chris Johnson, S.J., and Charles McGaa officiating. Traditional Lakota services will be provided by Lonnie Little Hoop & Quincy Red Feather.
Burial will be at the Holy Rosary Mission Catholic Cemetery in Pine Ridge, SD.
A three-night wake service will begin with the first night starting at 1:00 PM on Friday, January 29, 2016 at the Indian Mission Church of God in Alliance, NE. The second night will begin at 3:00 PM on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at the Billy Mills Hall in Pine Ridge, SD.
Annabelle was born on February 27, 1956 in Pine Ridge, SD to Flint Edward Red Feather and Katherine Millie (Janis) Red Feather. She passed away on January 25, 2016 at the Box Butte GeneralHospital in Alliance, NE.
Annabelle is survived by spouse of 43 years Isaac Picket Pin of Alliance, NE; sons Jamey Picket Pin, Jeremy Picket Pin, Isaac Picket Pin Jr., and Antoine Picket Pin, all of Alliance, NE; daughter Jolene Picket Pin of Alliance, NE; brothers Paul Red Feather, John Red Feather, and George Red Feather, all of Pine Ridge, SD, and Philip Red Feather of San Carlos, AZ; sisters Thelma Red Feather of Rapid City, SD, Mary Martinez of Kyle, SD, and Vienna Red Feather, Lula Walking, Loretta Red Feather, and Linda Garcia, all of Pine Ridge, SD; and 18 grandchildren.
Annabelle was preceded in death by parents Flint and Katherine Red Feather; children Lorenzo Picket Pin; an infant daughter; sister Shirley (Red Feather) Bissonette; and brother Kenneth Red Feather.
