Funeral services for stillborn baby Benton Jameis Ten Fingers will be at 2:30 PM on Friday, February 12, 2016 at the Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, SD with Sr. Connie Schmit officiating. Traditional Lakota services will be provided by the Wambli Mani Sundancers.
Burial will be at St. John’s Episcopal Cemetery in Oglala, SD.
A one-night wake service will begin at 12:00 PM on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at the Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, SD.
Benton was born on February 3, 2016 in Pine Ridge, SD to Delane Ten Fingers and Amber Yellow Hair. He passed away on February 3, 2016 at the Pine Ridge IHS in Pine Ridge, SD.
Benton is survived by parents Delane Ten Fingers and Amber Yellow Hair, both of Oglala, SD; brother Bryant Ten Fingers of Oglala, SD; sister Taliyah Martin of Oglala, SD; grandparents Theda Ten Fingers of Oglala, SD, Annette Yellow Horse of Doylestown, PA, Tracy (Ben) Smith of Pine Ridge, SD and Wade Bagola of Oglala, SD.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Benton Jameis Ten Fingers.
