02/22/2016 - Seth Eagle Bear Sr.
Funeral services for Seth Eagle Bear Sr., age 81, will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 22, 2016 at the Church of God in Wounded Knee, SD with Stanley Hollow Horn, Abraham Tobacco and Pedro Sharp Fish officiating.
Burial will be at the Lakota Freedom Veteran’s Cemetery in Kyle, SD.
A two-night wake service will begin at 10:00 AM on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at the Church of God in Wounded Knee, SD.
Seth was a veteran in the U.S. Marines.
He was born on April 8, 1934 in Wounded Knee, SD to James and Stella (Bull Tail) Eagle Bear. He passed away on February 14, 2016 at the GoldenLivingCenter in Rapid City, SD.
Seth is survived by son Seth Eagle Bear Jr. of Wounded Knee, SD; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Seth was preceded in death by parents James and Stella (Bull Tail) Eagle Bear; wife Violet (Conquering Bear) Eagle Bear; five sisters; and two brothers.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Seth Eagle Bear Sr.
