Funeral services for Marilyn Mary Bores A Hole, age 52, will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at the Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, SD with Reverend Pedro Sharpfish officiating.
Burial will be at Our Lady of Good Council Cemetery in Oglala, SD.
A one-night wake service will begin at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at the Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, SD.
Marilyn was born on April 12, 1963 in Pine Ridge, SD to Winfred No Water and Irene (Warrior) Bores A Hole. She made her journey to the Spirit World on February 18, 2016 at Rapid City Regional Hospital in Rapid City, SD.
Marilyn is survived by children Shawn Tobacco of Rapid City, SD and Katerri Tobacco and Eldon Ray Tobacco of Oglala, SD; brother Edward Bores A Hole of Manderson, SD; sister Linda Bores A Hole of Oglala, SD; grandchildren Darren Tobacco, Antwaun Tobacco, Dayton Tobacco, Deja Tobacco, Creedence Tobacco, Craig Boltz Jr., Jessica New Holy, Jordana New Holy, Passion Tobacco, and Courage Tobacco; and special friend Donald “Zondo” Brave Sr. of Oglala, SD.
Marilyn was preceded in death by parents Winfred and Irene; son Dwight Tobacco; daughter Nena Short Bull; and brothers Willard Bores A Hole and Floyd Bores A Hole.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Marilyn Mary Bores A Hole.
