Funeral services for Vana Louise Brown Eyes-White Face, age 66, will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 25, 2016 at the Mother Butler Center in Rapid City, SD. Traditional Lakota services will be provided by Scotty Brown Eyes.
Burial will be held at a later date.
A one-night wake service will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at the Mother Butler Center in Rapid City, SD.
Vana was born on January 16, 1950 in Pine Ridge, SD to Bernard Brown Eyes and Virginia Backward-Brown Eyes. She passed away on March 17, 2016 at Rapid City Regional Hospital in Rapid City, SD.
Vana is survived by children Donovan Brown Eyes, Julian Brown Eyes, Delia Adkins, and Bernard Adkins, all of Rapid City, SD; 17 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.
Vana was preceded in death by parents Bernard and Virginia Brown Eyes and one sister in infancy.
