Funeral services for William David Tibbitts, age 63, will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at the Sacred Heart Church Hall in Pine Ridge, SD with Father Chris Johnson, S.J., and Charles McGaa officiating.
Burial will be at St. Peter’s Catholic Church Cemetery in Manderson, SD.
A one-night wake service will begin at 1:00 PM on Monday, March 28, 2016 at the Sacred Heart Church Hall in Pine Ridge, SD.
William was born on June 23, 1952 in Pine Ridge, SD to Theodore Tibbitts and Irene Crazy Thunder-Tibbitts. He passed away on March 18, 2016 in Washington, D.C.
William is survived by brothers Donald Tibbitts of Manderson, SD, Rick Iovaine of Washington, D.C., and Alwin Tibbitts of Cheyenne, WY; nieces and nephews (Alwin’s children) Jiamiah, Justin and Emily; and Emily’s son, Wyatt.
William was preceded in death by parents Theodore and Irene (Crazy Thunder) Tibbitts.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for William David Tibbitts.
