Funeral services for Loren Timothy Shoulders, age 61, will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at the St. Agnes Catholic Church Hall in Manderson, SD with Father Chris Johnson, S.J., officiating. Traditional Lakota services will be provided by Sidney Has No Horse and Mike Little Boy.
Burial will be at St. Agnes Catholic Church Cemetery in Manderson, SD.
A two-night wake services begin at 2:00 PM on Monday, April 4, 2016 at the St. Agnes Catholic Church Hall in Manderson, SD.
Loren was a veteran in the U.S. Army. He was born on June 8, 1954 in Pine Ridge, SD to Andrew Shoulders and Christine Cedar Face-Shoulders. He made his journey to the Spirit World on March 25, 2016 at his home in Manderson, SD.
Loren is survived by sisters Charlene Featherman and Rose Shoulders of Manderson, SD, and Margelyn, Colleen and Deb Shoulders of Scottsbluff, NE; brother Orlan Shoulders of Manderson, SD; and nephews, nieces and grandchildren who love him dearly.
Loren was preceded in death by parents Andrew and Christine (Cedar Face) Shoulders; son Loren Timothy Jr.; brothers Seymour, Irdy, Lester, William, Renay Melvin Sr. and Victor Shoulders; and sisters Linda Shoulders-LaDeaux, Cora Shoulders and Joyce Thunder Bull.
Sioux Funeral Home, Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Loren Timothy Shoulders.
