Funeral services for Rodney Phillip Jealous of Him, age 53, will be at 12:00 PM on Monday, April 4, 2016 at the Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, SD with Sister Barb officiating. Traditional Lakota services will be provided by Ivis Long Visitor.
Burial will be at Our Lady of the Sioux Catholic Church Cemetery in Oglala, SD.
A two-night wake service will begin at 4:00 PM on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at the Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, SD.
Rodney was born on March 8, 1963 in Pine Ridge, SD to Louis Jealous of Him and Elizabeth Brings Him Back-Titus. He made his journey to the Spirit World on March 27, 2016 near Oglala, SD.
Rodney is survived by sisters Darlene (Walks Out) Red Hawk of Pine Ridge, SD and Karen Titus of Sioux Falls, SD, Constance (Titus) Good Voice Flute, Cecelia (Titus) Ten Fingers and Judy (Titus) Grass, all of Oglala, SD; brothers Don Roy Titus of Oglala, SD and Wayne and Wally Jealous of Him of Wounded Knee, SD; daughters Tashena Jealous of Him and Tlana Jealous of Him of Ethete, WY and Ellen Kills Small-Jealous of Him of Oglala, SD; and son Enroe Jesse Jealous of Him of Ethete, WY.
Rodney was preceded in death by parents Louis Jealous of Him and Elizabeth Brings Him Back; stepfather Matthew Titus; brother Buddy Walks Out; sister Sandra Jealous of Him; son Rodney Jealous of Him Jr.; and daughter Morning Star Jealous of Him.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Rodney Phillip Jealous of Him.
