Funeral services for Shawn Charles Clifford, age 23, will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at the Billy Mills Hall in Pine Ridge, SD with Reverend Harold Eagle Bull officiating. Traditional Lakota services will be provided by Jim Cross.
Burial will be at St. Paul’s CatholicCemetery in Sharp’s Corner, SD.
A two-night wake service will begin at 5:00 PM on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at the Billy Mills Hall in Pine Ridge, SD.
Shawn was born on May 8, 1992 in Gordon, NE to Correy Clifford Sr. and Linette Gibbons. He passed away on April 8, 2016 in Pine Ridge, SD.
Shawn is survived by parents Correy Clifford Sr. and Linette Gibbons of Rapid City, SD; brothers Correy Clifford Jr. and Christopher “C.W.” Clifford of Rapid City, SD; sister Meadeau Clifford of Rapid City, SD; grandparents Bill and Patricia (Fast Horse) Cross of Gordon, NE and Eli Clifford of Manderson, SD; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Shawn was preceded in death by grandparents Jerry Gibbons and Charlene Janis.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Shawn Charles Clifford.
