Funeral services for Jerry Lee Cottier Sr., age 57, will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at the Holy Cross Episcopal Church in Pine Ridge, SD with Reverend Rhoda Mesteth and Senior Catechist Ben Conquering Bear officiating.
Burial will be at Holy Cross Episcopal Church Cemetery in Pine Ridge, SD.
A one-night wake service will begin at 3:00 PM on Friday, April 15, 2016 at the Joyner Hall in Pine Ridge, SD.
Jerry was born on March 6, 1959 in Pine Ridge, SD to William Cottier Jr. and Cecelia (Shangreau) Cottier. He passed away on April 11, 2016 at the PineRidgeI.H.S.Hospital in Pine Ridge, SD.
Jerry is survived by spouse Benita Feather Earring of Pine Ridge, SD; sons Jerry Cottier Jr. of Pine Ridge, SD and Harlan Cottier of Apache, OK; daughters Amber Cottier, Feather Cottier, Haylee Cottier, and Calista Cottier, all of Pine Ridge, SD; brothers Darrell Cottier, Dean Cottier, Tom Cottier, and James Cottier, all of Pine Ridge, SD; sister Roberta Mendoza of CA; aunts and uncle Tom Jr. and Ann Conroy of Batesland, SD, Emma Gallego of Rapid City, SD and Wilamine White Eyes of Pine Ridge, SD; and grandchildren Stormy, Whisper, Dennis, Ivan Jr., Eric, and Braydan.
Jerry was preceded in death by parents William, Jr. and Cecelia Cottier and grandparents William Sr. and Mary (Nelson) Cottier and Martin and Louise (Jones) Shangreau.
