Funeral services for Earl James Black Feather, age 77, will be at 4:00 PM on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at the Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, SD with Sister Barb and Father Joe Daoust officiating.
Burial will be at Our Lady of Good Counsel Cemetery in Oglala, SD.
Visitation services will run from 12:00-4:00 PM on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at the Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, SD.
Earl was a veteran in the U.S. Army.
Earl was born on November 11, 1938 in Hisle, SD to Geoffrey Jake Black Feather and Ann Cora (Fast Wolf) Black Feather. He passed away on April 10, 2016 at the StateHospital in Yankton, SD.
Earl is survived by daughter Denise (Ronald Richards) Black Feather of Porcupine, SD; brother Vincent Black Feather of Kyle, SD; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Earl was preceded in death by parents Geoffrey and Anna Black Feather and brothers Eugene, Leo, and Roy Black Feather.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Earl James Black Feather.
