Funeral services for Leonard Daryl Pleasant, age 54, will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 22, 2016 at the Billy Mills Hall in Pine Ridge, SD with Reverend Abraham Tobacco officiating.
Burial will be at the St. Agnes Catholic Cemetery in Manderson, SD.
A one-night wake service will begin at 3:00 PM on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at the Billy Mills Hall in Pine Ridge, SD.
Leonard was born on June 12, 1961 in Pine Ridge, SD to Samuel Pleasant and Maxine (Lessert) Pleasant. He passed away on April 16, 2016 at his home in Pine Ridge, SD.
Leonard is survived by daughters Maxine Pleasant and Stacee Pleasant of Pine Ridge, SD; son Lyle Swimmer of Kyle, SD; brothers Ben Kelly of #4 near Pine Ridge, SD and Lessert Kelly of Tahlequah, OK; sister-in-laws Bobette Patton of Sharps Corner, SD and Concetta Kelly of Rushville, NE; four grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Leonard was preceded in death by parents Samuel Pleasant and Maxine (Lessert) Pleasant; wife Sharon (Iron Cloud) Pleasant; brother Anthony Kelly; and nephews Emmett and Mason Kelly.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Leonard Daryl Pleasant.
