Memorial services for Darlene Joyce (Serbousek) Perreten, age 84, of Hay Springs, NE will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 29, 2016 at the United Methodist Church in Hay Springs with Reverend Paul Smith and Marvin Blundell officiating.
Cremation has taken place, and inurnment will be at the Hay Springs Cemetery.
A memorial has been established and will be made to the family's choice. Donations may be sent to Chamberlain Drabbels Mortuary, PO Box 443, Hay Springs, NE 69347.

Darlene passed away on April 18, 2016 at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff, NE. She was born on September 12, 1931 in Hay Springs, NE.
Her survivors include brother Delbert Serbousek of Phoenix, AZ; sister Mardell (Richard) Horn of Wheatridge, CO; children Diana (Robert) Achtemeier of Pahrump, NV, William F. Perreten of Omaha, NE, and Debra Michael of Gering, NE; grandchildren Scott Evans, William Evans, Jessica Matlock, Chris Perreten, Dani Perreten, Nicole Michael and Brooke Michael; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents Frank and Libbie Serbousek, husband Bill Perreten, and son-in-law David Michael. Chamberlain Drabbels Mortuary in Hay Springs is in charge of arrangements for Darlene Joyce (Serbousek) Perreten.
