A memorial service for Donna L. Sleeper, age 88, of Chadron, NE will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at the Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Chadron, NE with Pastor Peter Bertram officiating.
Burial will be at a later date at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens in Battle Creek, MI.
A memorial has been established for Crestview Care Center in Chadron. Donations may be sent to Chamberlain Chapel, PO Box 970, Chadron, NE69337.
Donna passed away April 28, 2016 at Chadron Community Hospital. She was born August 14, 1927 in Albion, MI to Forrest and Viola Marshall. Donna had two daughters, and on September 16, 1960, she married the late Thomas C. Sleeper of Rushville, NE. To this union, four more children were born. Upon her husband’s passing in 2002, Donna moved to Chadron.
Donna is survived by children JoAnn (Steven) Rusan of Battle Creek, MI, Carl Sleeper of Battle Creek, MI, Nan (Pat) Gould of Chadron, NE, and Cliff Sleeper of Battle Creek, MI; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Donna is preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Connie, son Edward, granddaughter Lynn (Hess) Fields, and daughter-in-law Marcia (Carl) Sleeper.
Chamberlain Chapel of Chadron is in charge of arrangements for Donna L. Sleeper.
