Funeral services for Pamla Kay Schreiner, age 50, will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 13, 2016 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pine Ridge, SD with Father Christopher Johnson, S.J., and Charles McGaa officiating. Traditional Lakota services will be provided by Chris Brooks.
Burial will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, May 16, 2016 at the Black HillsNationalCemetery in Sturgis, SD.
A one-night wake service will begin at 3:00 PM on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pine Ridge, SD.
Pamla was born on April 21, 1966 in Fairbanks, AK to Eugene Roberts Sr. and Esther Hayward. She passed away on May 7, 2016 at the Rapid CityRegionalHospital in Rapid City, SD.
Pamla is survived by father Eugene Roberts Sr. of Fairbanks, AK; mother Esther Hayward of Anchorage, AK; spouse Jay Schreiner of Pine Ridge, SD; children Rhiannon (Leon Jr.) Janis and Tasheena (Jesse) Red Wing of Pine Ridge, SD and Jay (Tahnee Black Feather) Schreiner Jr. of Rapid City, SD; brothers Norman Roberts of Anchorage, AK and Eugene Roberts Jr. of Fairbanks, AK; sisters Brenda Meeker of Fairbanks, AK, Lori Clark of Alexandria, LA, and Jaclynn Jensen of Fairbanks, AK; grandchildren Charlee Schreiner, Taysean Schreiner, Leon Janis III, JayAnn Janis, Harlee Carlow, Michael Robert Carlow IV, Kaia Schreiner, Anna Janis, and Jaylee Red Wing; and mother-in-law Anna L. Schreiner of Pine Ridge, SD.
Pamla was preceded in death by sister Annette Roberts and grandparents Esaw and Elsie Roberts and Martha and Christopher Charlie.
