Funeral services for Rose Marie White Face, age 71, will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, June 13, 2016 at the Porcupine Day School in Porcupine, SD with Pastor Rick Eshbugh of Sioux Falls, SD officiating.
Burial will be at the Lakota Mennonite Cemetery in Porcupine, SD.
A one-night wake service will begin at 2:00 PM on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at the Porcupine Day School in Porcupine, SD.
Rose Marie was born on August 1, 1944 at the Gordon Memorial Hospital in Gordon, NE to Vincent and Ella (Imitates Dog) Thunder Bull. She made her journey to be with the Lord on June 7, 2016 at the Rapid City Regional Hospital in Rapid City, SD.
Rose Marie is survived by husband Howard White Face; sons Billy Gourd of Kyle, SD and Greeley White Face, Diggo White Face, and Dio White Face of Porcupine, SD; daughters Betty White Face, Lori Running Hawk, and Angel White Face of Porcupine, SD and Cathy Two Crow of Wanblee, SD; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Rose Marie was preceded in death by granddaughter Jayden C. R. White Face; sister Faye Lone Hill; granddaughter Crystal Feather Two Crow; brother Cecil Thunder Bull; sister Linda Means; daughter Kathleen White Face; mother Ella Imitates Dog (Thunder Bull); and father Vincent Thunder Bull.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Rose Marie White Face.
