Funeral services for Shanna Renee Lessert, age 59, will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at the Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, SD with Father Joe Daust, S.J., and Sister Connie Schmidt officiating.
Burial will be at the Lessert Family Cemetery, #4 Community in Pine Ridge, SD.
A one-night wake service will begin at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 17, 2016 at the Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, SD.
Shanna was born on November 18, 1956 in Igloo, SD to Sam and Irene (Amiotte) Lessert. She made her journey to the Spirit World on June 13, 2016 at her home in #4 Community in Pine Ridge, SD.
Shanna is survived by sons Eric Lessert of Canyon City, CO and Karlin Scott Lessert of Rapid City, SD; spouse Orlando Two Bulls of #4 Community, SD; stepchildren Arlana Two Bulls and Kayla Two Bulls of #4 Community, SD; brothers Sam J. Lessert of Pine Ridge, SD and Nick Fay of Gilroy, CA; and grandchildren Ayanna Lessert, Kaleb Black Elk, and Alora Black Elk of Rapid City, SD and Rooster Two Bulls, Taylor Two Bulls, and Charlie Two Bulls of #4 Community.
Shanna was preceded in death by parents Sam and Irene Lessert; daughter Elaine “Ellie” Lessert; brother William “Bill” Lessert; and sister Carol Haub.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Shanna Renee Lessert.
