Funeral services for Wanda Lucille (Chubb) Pelren, age 94, of Fort Collins, CO and formerly of Crawford, NE, will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, July 1, 2016 at the First Congregational Church in Crawford.
Burial will be at the Crawford City Cemetery.
A memorial has been established. Donations may be sent to Chamberlain Chapel, PO Box 970, Chadron, NE 69337.

Wanda was born to Henry Fred and Mary Ellen Chubb on February 25, 1922 in Cody, NE. She passed away on June 22, 2016 in Fort Collins, CO. Wanda lived and grew up in the Cottonwood Area of Crawford, NE. She attended the Crawford schools.
Wanda met Kenneth Pelren from the Badlands area of Crawford, and they were the first ones married in the Crawford Nazarene Church on June 29, 1940. God blessed them with 58 years of marriage. The couple lived in Crawford as well as Tacoma, WA and Indio, CA.
Wanda was such a wonderful, loving mother to her four children, Leona (Larry) Rittenhouse of Fort Collins, CO, Bryce (Bonnie) Pelren of Tucson, AZ, Nadine (Phil) Owensby of Kansas City, MO, and Les Pelren.
She was preceded in death by parents Fred and Mary Chubb, husband Kenneth Pelren, brothers Cecil and Lyle Chubb, son Les Pelren, grandson Barry Rittenhouse, and great-grandson Landon Isaac Rittenhouse.
Everyone who knew her loved her handwritten letters and cards to them. She never forgot a birthday and loved everyone.
