Funeral services for Stanley Michael Yellow Boy, age 56, will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at the Billy Mills Hall in Pine Ridge, SD with Pastor Elton Yellow Boy officiating.
Burial will be at the Wolf Creek Community Cemetery in near Pine Ridge, SD.
A one-night wake service will start at 1:00 PM on Friday, July 1, 2016 at the Billy Mills Hall in Pine Ridge, SD.
Stanley was born on July 9, 1959 in Pine Ridge, SD to Levi and Athelia (Waters) Yellow Boy. He made his journey to the Spirit World on June 25, 2016 in Sioux Falls, SD.
Stanley is survived by daughter Fawn Yellow Boy of Rapid City, SD; brothers Fred Yellow Boy, Chris Gibbons, and Herman White Whirlwind, all of Rapid City, SD; sisters Sophie “Gloria” Yellow Boy of Pine Ridge, SD, Bernadette O’Mara of Merriville, IN, and Charlotte White Whirlwind of Bowman, ND; special grandson Ronald Rowland Jr. of Rapid City, SD; the Good Plume Family of the Wolf Creek Community near Pine Ridge, SD; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Stanley was preceded in death by parents Levi and Athelia (Waters) Yellow Boy; sister Carol Yellow Boy; and brother Thomas “Tomahawk” Yellow Boy.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Stanley Michael Yellow Boy.
