Funeral services for Carol Ann (Bear Runner) Navarro, age 52, will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 8, 2016 at Parish Hall in Porcupine, SD with Reverend Harold Eagle Bull officiating.
Burial will be at the Bear Runner Family Cemetery in Porcupine, SD.
A one-night wake service will begin at 3:00 PM on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Parish Hall in Porcupine, SD.
Carol was born on June 1, 1964 in Pine Ridge, SD to Harold Bear Runner and Lucille Scott. She began her journey to the Spirit World on July 1, 2016 at Bryan Medical Center in Lincoln, NE.
Carol is survived by children Bridgette Lucio of Lawrence, KS, Allison, Ariel and Rose Hardy, all of Lincoln, NE, and Juanito and Jailene Navarro of Omaha, NE; brothers Ed Bear Runner of Denver, CO and Dan Bear Runner of Pine Ridge, SD; sisters Cindy Minkler of Seattle, WA, Sonia Bear Runner of Rapid City, SD, Mona Bear Runner of Taos, NM, Lisa (Kris Avendano) Bear Runner of Hyrum, UT, Gloria (Jimmy) Taylor of Oklahoma, and Florence Bear Runner of California; and five grandchildren.
Carol was preceded in death by parents Harold Bear Runner and Lucille Scott; sister Geraldine Powless (Bear Runner); maternal grandparents Isaac Scott and Eva Jaw; and paternal grandparents Oscar Bear Runner and Grace Rock.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Carol Ann (Bear Runner) Navarro.
