Funeral services for Michael “Mikey” Joseph Bissonette, age 29, will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pine Ridge, SD with Charles McGaa officiating.
Burial will be at the Holy Rosary Mission Catholic Cemetery in Pine Ridge, SD.
A one-night wake service will begin at 3:00 PM on Friday, July 22, 2016 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pine Ridge, SD.
Mikey Joe was born on October 3, 1986 in Pine Ridge, SD to Janice Campos and Gilbert Bissonette Jr. His grandmother is Dorothy Yankton of Pine Ridge, SD. He passed away on July 17, 2016 in Pine Ridge, SD.
Mike is survived by parents Janice Campos (mother), Gilbert Bissonette Jr. (father), Terry Goings Sr., and Marie Red Owl, all of Pine Ridge, SD; brothers Terry Goings Jr., Mike Hard Heart-Goings, and Bryan Good Voice Elk, all of Pine Ridge, SD, Charles Campos of Emmons, MN, and Monte Goings of Calico, SD; sisters Leigh Ana Shangreaux of Manderson, SD and Lenora Clifford of Pine Ridge, SD; best friend Jana Iron Cloud; and numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, and grandchildren.
Mike was preceded in death by grandparents Ethel Swick, Gilbert & Janette Bissonette Sr., Victoria Frazier, and Cecil Goings; brother Marshal Goings; sister Lisa Bissonette; niece Alexis Goings; and numerous aunts and uncles.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Michael “Mikey” Joseph Bissonette.
