Funeral services for Te’Ca Lynn Clifford, age 13, will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at the Pine Ridge Elementary School Gymnasium in Pine Ridge, SD with Reverend Rhoda Mesteth officiating. Traditional Lakota services will be provided by Jim Miller.
Burial will be at St. Stephen’s Catholic Cemetery in Kyle, SD.
A one-night wake service will start at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at the Pine Ridge Elementary School Gymnasium in Pine Ridge, SD.
Te’Ca Lynn was born on June 22, 2003, the only child of Crystal Red Kettle and Eli Clifford Jr. Te’Ca attended Pine Ridge Elementary K-7th grade, where she played basketball. Te’Ca left her family tragically on July 20, 2016.
Te’Ca leaves behind a large family who loved her immensely, including parents Crystal Red Kettle and Eli Clifford Jr., both of Pine Ridge, SD; brother Christopher Brown of Pine Ridge, SD; grandparents Frankee and Paul White Dress of Pine Ridge, SD Christine Red Kettle of Rapid City, SD and Lynn Gallego of Pine Ridge, SD; uncles Tony Red Kettle, Leon Red Kettle, and Cory Clifford Sr., all of Rapid City, SD, William Hill of Rapid City, SD, and Lenny Clifford Jr. of Utah; aunts Phaera Madden, Annie Clifford, & Edie Clifford, all of Pine Ridge, SD, Martha Ciccia of Texas, Sarah Clifford of Utah, Lynette Clifford of Bismarck, ND, Julia Clifford of Manderson, SD, Daphne Janis and Sherry Steele both of Pine Ridge, SD, and Zaniya White Dress and Angel Hill-White Dress, both of Rapid City, SD.
Te’Ca was preceded in death by beloved sister Tashiana Martia Hernandez; grandfathers Ambrose Red Kettle Sr. and Eli Clifford Sr.; cousin Shawn Clifford; and grandmother Beulah Gallego.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Te’Ca Lynn Clifford.
