Funeral services for Roderic Gene Crow, age 43, will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, August 15, 2016 at the Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, SD with Sister Barb and Reverend Robert Two Bulls officiating.
Burial will be at the Poor Elk Family Cemetery in #6 Community, Oglala, SD.
A one-night wake service will begin at 4:30 PM on Sunday, August 14, 2016 at the Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, SD.
Roderic was born on January 6, 1973 in Pine Ridge, SD to Robert and Diane (Good Voice Flute) Crow. He made his journey to the Spirit World on August 7, 2016 in Oglala, SD.
Roderic is survived by mother Diane Crow of Chadron, NE; sisters Trudy and Colleen Crow of Omaha, NE, Kathleen Crow of Las Vegas, NV, Avis Crow of Oglala, SD, and Tessie Her Many Horses of Nice, CA; brothers Patrick Crow Sr. of Minneapolis, MN, Pernell Crow and Perry Crow of Oglala, SD, and Brian Whiteman Eagle of Oglala, SD; special aunts Trivian Crow and Marlene Blacksmith of Oglala, SD; special goddaughter Taylaih M. Martin of Oglala, SD; adopted niece (his little wife) Baby Iva Black Elk of Pine Ridge, SD; and special friend Iva Lynn of Pine Ridge, SD.
Roderic was preceded in death by grandparents Levi and Bertha Good Voice Flute and Isaac and Jessie Crow; father Robert Crow; brothers Spencer Crow Sr. and Daryle Crow; and adopted brother Robert Blacksmith.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Roderic Gene Crow.
