Funeral services for Diane Dunn, age 56, of Hay Springs, NE will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Christ Community Church in Crawford, NE with Pastor Steve Mallory officiating.

Burial will take place at a later date at Greenwood Cemetery in Chadron, NE.

A memorial has been established. Donations may be sent to Chamberlain Chapel, PO Box 970, Chadron, NE 69337.

Diane was born on January 4, 1960 to Paul and Frida Schacher. She was born and raised in Flint, MI, along with brother Rick and sister Linda. Following high school, Diane worked as a Michigan Bell Telephone Company operator before moving to Lagrange, WY to attend Frontier School of the Bible. While in school, Diane met Richard Dunn; they soon married and began their family. Together Diane and Rich would raise five children, Kelsey, Cora, Alissa, Kayla and Jonny. Diane’s greatest accomplishments were her children. Diane was an avid reader, tennis player, and loved to raise and groom dogs. Diane went to be with the Lord at Pioneer Manor in Hay Springs, NE on August 11, 2016 after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Diane was a member of the Christ Community Church in Crawford, NE and a volunteer at the Natural Food Co-op in Chadron, NE.

Diane was loving, caring, sweet, kind-hearted, full of faith and grace.

She is survived by father and mother Paul and Frida Schacher, brother Rick (Regina) Schacher, sister Linda (Bob) Warren; children Kelsey Didier, Cora (Trenton) Linker, Alissa (Mathew) Murphy, Kayla Dunn and Jonny Dunn; and grandchildren Tyson Didier, Gage Didier, Connor Murphey and Jaxon Linker.
