Funeral services for Florence Mae Shot With Arrow, age 66, will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at American Horse School Gymnasium in Allen, SD with Reverend Rhoda Mesteth officiating. Traditional Lakota services will be provided by Steve DuBray.
 
Burial will be at the Inestimable Gift Episcopal Church Cemetery in Allen, SD.
 
A two-night wake service will begin with the first night at 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at Florence’s residence in Allen, SD. The second night will start at 2:30 PM on Friday, September 2, 2016 at the American Horse School Gymnasium in Allen, SD.
 
Florence was born March 17, 1950 to Edison Long Man and Cecelia Nelson in Allen, SD. She passed away on August 25, 2016 at the Rapid CityRegionalHospital in Rapid CitySD.
 
Florence is survived by sons Travis Thunder Bull, Tyrell Longman, and Clement Longman, all of Allen, SD; daughters Stephanie Fire Thunder, Carla Shot With Arrow and Juanita Longman, all of Allen, SD; brother Egan Longman of Allen, SD; sisters Pheobe Tallman and Wilma Shot With Arrow, both of Allen, SD and Lynore Longman of Martin, SD; and grandchildren Larissa Richards, Heaven Richards, Aliana Gay, Albert Shot With Arrow, Bryson Thunder Bull, Bri’elle Blue Legs, Clayton Fire Thunder, Leighton Yankton, Lariana Shot With Arrow, Ashanti Green, Jaelen Thunder Bull, Jaycie Richards, Laney Thunder Bull, Travis Thunder Bull Jr., Logan Richards and Leilani Richards, all of Allen, SD.
 
Florence was preceded in death by parents Edison Longman and Cecelia Nelson; sister Jeanette Tallman; brothers Darwin Longman and Donald Longman; daughter Sue Shot With Arrow; and grandchildren Adrian Returns From Scout, Shawn Yankton and Jada Richards.
 
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Florence Mae Shot With Arrow.
