A Mass of Christian Burial for Sandra "Sandee" Kay (Green) Long, age 65, will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church in Rapid City, SD with Father Ed Witt, S.J., officiating.

Burial will be at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Rapid City, SD.

A one-night wake service will begin at 1:00 PM on Monday, September 5, 2016 at the Mother Butler Center in Rapid City, SD with Rosary Services starting at 7:00 PM at St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church in Rapid City, SD.

Sandee was born on April 27, 1951 in Rapid City, SD to Richard and Bernadine (Jones) Green. She passed away on August 29, 2016 at her home in Rapid City, SD.

Sandee married Leonard Long in June 1972, and they were married for 44 years. To this union, they had one son, Delson Long Sr., and five grandchildren. Sandee was a very passionate, loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She always had a positive outlook on life. She had a beautiful heart and a strong spirit. She had a very strong faith, and she walked humbly. Sandee had a one-of-a-kind personality with a great sense of humor. No matter the circumstances she always remained nurturing, kind, strong, and very compassionate. She was a role model and also a second mom to many. She will be greatly missed by her husband, son, grandchildren, family, & friends.

Sandra is survived by spouse of 44 years Leonard Long of Rapid City, SD; son Delson Long Sr. of Rapid City, SD; brothers Richard (Carol) Green, Anthony (Sharon) Green, Kenny Green, and Pat (Sally) Green, all of Rapid City, SD; sisters Madonna (Charles) Vermillion and Priscilla (Mike) Red Leaf of Rapid City, SD; and grandchildren Destiny Long, Deidra Long, Azariah Mckay, Amariana Mckay, and Delson Long Jr.

Sandra was preceded in death by parents Richard and Bernadine Green; sister Theresa Green; grandson Nicodemus Marshall; nieces Jenny and Kateri Dismounts; and nephews Brandon Lee Lyburger and Thomas "TJ" Red Leaf.
