Funeral services for Ceferino Garfield Kindle, age 72, will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at the Makasan Presbyterian Church Hall in Oglala, SD with Reverend Simon Looking Elk and Elder Madeline Terry officiating.
Burial will be at the Makasan Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Oglala, SD.
A one-night wake service will begin at 4:30 PM on Friday, September 9, 2016 at the Makasan Presbyterian Church Hall in Oglala, SD.
Ceferino was born on March 9, 1944 in Pine Ridge, SD to Mark Kindle and Victoria Good Soldier. He made his journey to the Spirit World on September 3, 2016 in Pine Ridge, SD.
Ceferino is survived by sons Neal (Stephanie) Kindle of Allen, SD and Gilson (Karen) Ten Fingers of Oglala, SD; Hunka son Rob Rouillard of Oglala, SD; daughters Velma Brings Him Back, Theda Ten Fingers, Pam Ten Fingers, Cheryl (Filmore) He Crow and Stormy Kindle, all of Oglala, SD, and Sharon (Louis Sr.) Pulliam of Pine Ridge, SD; brother Morris Kindle of Oglala, SD; sisters Katie Kindle and Katherine (Edward) Star of Oglala, SD, Minnie Kindle of Ohio, and Audrey Kindle-Wallace of Dallas, TX; grandchildren Henrietta, Krisann, Tashena, Madison and Nekole Kindle and Taylen Blacksmith, all of Allen, SD; and great-great-grandchildren Arius and Ashtynn Kindle and Tyson, Damien and Shaila Two Two, all of Allen, SD.
Ceferino was preceded in death by parents Mark Kindle and Victoria Good Shoulder; brothers Ben Kindle, Steven Kindle and Emery Kindle; sister Wanda Kindlle; nephew Timothy Kindle; and special friend Margaret Ten Fingers.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Ceferino Garfield Kindle.
