Graveside services for Matthew Evans White Face, age 58, will be at 3:00 PM on Monday, September 19, 2016 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Wounded Knee, SD with Reverend Harold Eagle Bull officiating.
A viewing will be from 1:00 PM-2:00 PM on Monday, September 19, 2016 at Sioux Funeral Home in Pine Ridge, SD.
Burial will be at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Wounded Knee, SD.
Matthew was born on April 25, 1958 in Pine Ridge, SD to Matthew Elvis White Face Sr. and Bertha Edna Eagle Bear. He made his journey to the Spirit World on September 13, 2016 in Indianapolis, IN.
Matthew is survived by spouse Deanna White Face; daughter Winona Red Bull-White Face of Flagstaff, AZ; brother Jadan White Face; three grandchildren; and nieces and nephews James White Face, Mary White Face, Stanley White Face, Hunberto Garcia, Ana Garcia, Jose Garcia, Bianca Garcia, Crystal Fernandez, Jennifer Fernandez, and Desirea Fernandez.
Matthew was preceded in death by mother Bertha Edna White Face; father Matthew Elvis White Face Sr.; sister Amelia Bear Robe; and brother Lugene White Face.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Matthew Evans White Face.
